About everymanjack

everymanjack is a musical trio based in Sussex, UK.

We are a somewhat eclectic group and our music, though drawing upon jazz traditions, has a wide range of influences.

Chris Loftin

Composer, Musical Director and Tenor / Soprano Saxophone

Originally from London, studied composition with Richard Barrett and saxophone with Aubrey Frank (Ted Heath Band) and Roger Cawkwell (John Dankworth Band); compositions reflect wide range of musical studies and influences.

Kevin Kimber

Tuba

Sussex born and bred, spent a number of years playing tuba in local concert and brass bands before diversifying and playing trumpet in big bands and dance bands.

Alex Medwell

Drums

Alex is a versatile drummer who has played in many styles of musical groups including rock bands, swing bands, jazz trios, orchestras and wind bands.
